8/6/21, Naysha to lead an introductory immunology & imaging unit for high school junior and senior students in Puerto Rico.
Introduction
Our very own second-year graduate student Naysha will lead an extracurricular mini-course on modern human immunology and microscopy at the Leadership Christian Academy (LCA) in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. The course will cover basic concepts of immune cells, how vaccines work, current CDC recommendations on COVID-19, and microscopes. Naysha's goal is to make high school students aware of the career path in research and how it impacts society and human health.
