Postdoctoral Associate.

A postdoctoral research associate position is available in the Immune Imaging group at the University of Illinois at Chicago. The research group specializes in developing single-molecule and superresolution bioanalytical techniques to seek insights from signaling, trafficking, and molecular interactions with a particular interest in cytokine trafficking and release from T cells (Bioconjugate Chemistry, 2023, https://doi.org/10.1021/acs.bioconjchem.3c00178; Nano Letters, 2022, PMID: 35499493; ACS Nano, 2021, PMID: 34797055;  Nature Methods, 2013, PMID: 23361087). The ideal candidate will have an interdisciplinary background with prior experience in single-molecule superresolution imaging or molecular cloning, lentiviral packaging and transduction, flow cytometry, and experience working with primary T cells. Qualifications:

  • Strong publication record and communication skills
  • Proficiency in fluorescence microscopy or molecular biology
  • Willingness to work with graduate trainees

Lab technician/Junior specialist

A Lab technician/Junior specialist position is immediately available in the Immune Imaging group at the University of Illinois at Chicago. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in mammalian tissue culture, molecular cloning, and/or lab management. Salary is commensurate with experience. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B.S. in Biological Sciences or related fields
  • Three years of prior experience
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Prior experience with journal publications and grant proposals is a strong plus
