Badeia’s recent T cell work published in Biophysical Journal.
In a recent publication, Badeia applied single-particle tracking and superresolution imaging to investigate the vesicular trafficking and spatial distribution of interleukin-2 (IL-2) after T cell activation. The study shed light on how the accelerated vesicular dynamics and increased clustering of IL-2 may be related to the rapid secretion of the cytokine after activation. The study is reported in the Biophysics of Immune Cell Signaling special issue of Biophysical Journal.
